TripAmp
Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
TripAmp is a travel experience app currently offered as a private beta. This policy explains what information TripAmp collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, authentication information, and account identifiers. If you sign in with Google, Google provides the basic account information needed to sign you in.
Trip information. Creators may provide destinations, dates, itinerary details, traveler names or descriptions, interests, preferences, notes, corrections, and other information used to build a TripAmp.
Voice, text, and uploaded sources. When you use TripAmp's voice feature, your browser converts your speech to text on your device. TripAmp receives and stores the text you choose to submit; TripAmp does not upload the audio recording. You may also type information or upload supported files and images for TripAmp to use as source material.
Participation and usage information. We may record information such as the trips you join, game progress or scores, pages or games opened, and limited technical/error events. TripAmp uses a session identifier for beta analytics so we can understand whether the experience is working.
Payment information. Paid access is not currently open. If payments are enabled later, a payment provider will handle payment-card details. TripAmp may retain transaction status, product, entitlement, and provider reference information needed to operate your access, but does not need to store your full card number.
How we use information
We use information to operate TripAmp, authenticate users, create and personalize trip content, keep trip information current, provide games and participant features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, understand beta usage, and improve the product.
Trip information and source material may be processed by AI service providers when TripAmp analyzes what you tell us or generates content, recommendations, games, or images. We send only the information reasonably needed for those functions.
How information is shared
Within a trip. Information intended for a trip may be visible to the trip creator and authorized participants. Participant activity such as game progress or leaderboard information may also be visible within that trip.
Service providers. We use providers that support hosting, databases and storage, authentication, AI generation, error reporting, and—when enabled—payments. They process information on our behalf to provide those services.
Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect TripAmp and others.
TripAmp does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
Storage and retention
TripAmp keeps account and trip information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support the beta, maintain trip history, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Creators can remove certain source material; raw uploaded or transcript payloads may be deleted or purged while limited records needed for integrity, audit, or troubleshooting may remain.
Your choices
You can review and update much of your trip information inside TripAmp. You may also contact us to ask about accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information associated with your account, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Children
TripAmp is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not create their own TripAmp accounts. Trip creators should avoid submitting sensitive personal information about children unless it is genuinely needed for the trip experience.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect TripAmp data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use care when deciding what information to include in a trip.
Changes to this policy
TripAmp is evolving during beta. We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above will be updated when we make material revisions.
